Spiritual Friendship

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
—John 13:34-35

Love is not a solo act. It only happens with other people, in community. Spiritual friendships occur when people commit themselves to each other. Spiritual friends share life, encourage growth, bear with each other, and even correct occasionally out of love. They listen to each other and learn from each other. They serve together, pray and worship together, and party and laugh together.

Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship offers plenty of opportunities to develop spiritual friendships. Tuesday nights, retreats, and service projects give us shared experience and time together. Cores, our small group Bible studies, give an opportunity for even closer relationships to form.

Campus, especially a large campus, can be a lonely place, but Chi Alpha is about putting people together. There's no reason to be alone here.
